Sustainability

We have been committed to fair trade and environmentally friendly agriculture for over 45 years. As a matter of conviction, we source our agricultural raw materials directly from the producers wherever possible. Over 90% of our raw materials come from controlled organic agriculture and a significant share is also fair trade certified.

Thanks to this stance, PRONATEC is making a major contribution to sustainable development every day. Nevertheless, we are not resting on our laurels and are committed to further improving the sustainability of our work on several levels.

We have set ourselves the following sustainability goals

Our sphere of influence is centred on the following five UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

SDG 1 no poverty - Pronatec
SDG 8 decent work - Pronatec
SDG 12 responsible consumption - Pronatec
SDG 13 climate_action - Pronatec
SDG 15 life on land - Pronatec

Transportation, processing and storage

We are constantly working on minimising transport links and energy consumption for processing, storage and packaging. We prefer services from partners who use sustainable processes.
